Chef Maestro's Italian cooking recipes have been inspired by my years of working as chef in Italian restaurants. I know that there are some people who think of pizza and pasta as pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with meatballs.
In Chef Maestro we would like to show you that pizza and pasta are very versatile and tasty foods and can be a part of any healthy diet. What can be more tasty and healthy at the same time, as a pasta made with extra virgin olive oil, basil pesto, olives, garlic, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, gourmet mushrooms, parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and all other amazing Mediterranean food ingredients? Another myth out there is that pizza isn't healthy food.
It doesn't have to be true if you cook pizza in your home. Just look in the ingredients for pizza. Use semi-skimmed cheese, or just cut back on the mozzarella in favor of feta, goat cheese or ricotta and you will have a wonderful meal for you and your family. Chef Maestro is divided into three main sections - pizza recipes, pasta recipes and everyday Italian recipes.
There you can find a wealth of information how to make fresh pasta, potato gnocchi, pizza dough and a lot more. It all started as a small project in 2006, when I wanted to publish my favorite pizza and pasta recipes. Since then this site has grown to include some of the famous recipes from the Italian cuisine, and we hope to become your favorite source for Italian recipes. All the recipes in Chef Maestro are original and unique, created and tested by us. Be prepared to get addicted to pasta and pizza, after you had cooked your first successful meal from one of our recipes.
