Cabbage Roll Casserole Recipe

Recipe: Heat the olive oil with the onion and garlic in a large heavy skillet or a saucepan, and brown the ground beef and pork. Remove most of the fat from the skillet and add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce the temperature to just simmering. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour the cabbage roll casserole in a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 375 F covered for 40 minutes. Uncover and cook for 10 minutes more. Remove the dish from the oven and let the cabbage roll casserole cool down a little bit for 10 minutes before serving. Serve the cabbage roll casserole with some sour cream on the side, a shaker with chilli flakes and a grater with Parmesan cheese.
